Vonage Business Communications App Reviews

This app call you back to connect to the phone number you dialed burning your phone minutes. Whats the benefit then? No SIP support. Voice quality was not that good either.

Everytime you open the app it crashes, happens to everyone in the company I work with.. Been like this for 2 months...

After updated to the latest version, I cant login. It keeps telling me to try it later.

Awful update. For almost 2 full weeks now the app completely doesnt work on iPhones. The company obviously spent no time testing this. Its cost my business money. What a completely terrible update, they should be embarrassed with the mistake, even more embarrassed that its taken this long and not yet fixed, and even more embarrassed that this isnt the first update they have done that has broken this app. Useless!

Absolute failure. Can’t use the app and I am travelling. So now it is costing me money and Vonage has been of no use in terms of assisting with the problem. Would have given less than 1 star if I could.

The phone works well .. when it works. A lot of outgoing calls do not work. I keep getting "call failed". And some calls disconnect mid call. If you could fix these serious issues, it would be a great app. We chose Vonage so we could use this app for outgoing calls. If it cant function properly, we will be looking elsewhere.

Lovely app, all features, call quality is excellent.

Since the update, I cant get any of the NMAC settings to work the way theyre supposed to. When I call tech support, Im told "everything seems fine on our end". Now the app wont even connect.

UPDATE: The problem of not receive incoming calls have been resolved after several customer support calls. PLEASE PLEASE do not update the app just because you have to. Please do comprehensive testing before releasing any update. The app should be 5 stars if no problems, I give 3 stars for the trouble the new update has caused. This App NO LONGER registers as a softphone in your account. Therefore, you only have 10 mins for receiving incoming calls after each log in. Then their system LOGS YOU OFF after 10 mins even you are still logged in the mobile app. You will not receive any incoming calls after 10 mins! You need to log out and log in to receive incoming calls, so ob! BAD BAD BAD! BRING US BACK THE SOFTPHONE FEATURE!

It worked great until last update. Now I cannot receive calls through through the app. I have to log off and log back on.

App keeps going offline after idle for sometime. Cannot see my call history at all from app. Called tech support at least 20 Times. Service is to useless therefore Im getting rid of it.

So this app caused me to need to do a complete rebuilding of my extension. Vonage *still* wont say for certain it wont happen again. Really bad customer service and the app doesnt help.

In my experience this app is useless. Once the call is connected no one can ever hear me. Occasionally I use the Comcast phone app which works awesome. However I use Vonage for my Business and wish their app worked as well.

This really gets the job done.

This app is as horrible as Vonage service is. Confusing and features dont work 1/2 the time.

Useless app. With app open and phone locked, calls are missed because app does not ring. Cant change the contacts sort order.

This thing cant do anything right. Pure frustration. Before Vonage bought vocalocity, the app was worth it.

I dont know what the other reviewers are smoking but this is the best version of the app yet. I could never get the previous app with the orange icon to work for VoIP calls. This new app works flawlessly. Leaving fixed it so that you can access your contact list natively.

This app is worth having sans a few issues. The latest update has fixed most but still have a problem receiving calls if the app is not open. This isnt a problem however if you change the follow-me settings, then it will forward all calls directly to you regular incoming calls vs ringing the app. This isnt a big deal for us personally since I tend to use it more to retrieve voicemails and make calls when away from the office. Overall its a good app that could use some more tweeting.
