Vonage Business Communications app good for
I dont know what the other reviewers are smoking but this is the best version of the app yet. I could never get the previous app with the orange icon to work for VoIP calls. This new app works flawlessly. Leaving fixed it so that you can access your contact list natively.
This app is worth having sans a few issues. The latest update has fixed most but still have a problem receiving calls if the app is not open. This isnt a problem however if you change the follow-me settings, then it will forward all calls directly to you regular incoming calls vs ringing the app.
This isnt a big deal for us personally since I tend to use it more to retrieve voicemails and make calls when away from the office.
Overall its a good app that could use some more tweeting.
Love the freedom Vonage & Essentials gives me. It doesnt matter if Im in the office or 2 states away - I never miss a call.
Much better on improvements. Only wish is if could just keep office contacts with out have to switch back and forth .
Great app. Only bad is cant block Someone from it or erase phone numbers that called in.
Other than that its great.
This version is amazing. Integration with the native dialer makes for a seamless experience. Love it.
Some bad moments
This app call you back to connect to the phone number you dialed burning your phone minutes. Whats the benefit then? No SIP support. Voice quality was not that good either.
Everytime you open the app it crashes, happens to everyone in the company I work with.. Been like this for 2 months...
After updated to the latest version, I cant login. It keeps telling me to try it later.
Awful update. For almost 2 full weeks now the app completely doesnt work on iPhones. The company obviously spent no time testing this. Its cost my business money. What a completely terrible update, they should be embarrassed with the mistake, even more embarrassed that its taken this long and not yet fixed, and even more embarrassed that this isnt the first update they have done that has broken this app. Useless!
Absolute failure. Can’t use the app and I am travelling. So now it is costing me money and Vonage has been of no use in terms of assisting with the problem. Would have given less than 1 star if I could.
The phone works well .. when it works. A lot of outgoing calls do not work. I keep getting "call failed". And some calls disconnect mid call. If you could fix these serious issues, it would be a great app. We chose Vonage so we could use this app for outgoing calls. If it cant function properly, we will be looking elsewhere.
